As for the wolfxchange... You pretty much have it right. Basically at the beginning of the month you post your character's information up on the sign up sheet. Then emails go out telling you who you get to draw for. Meanwhile, someone else is drawing your character.

It's sort of like a secret art trade. You don't know who's drawing for you so it's a bit of a surprise when they finally post the art up at the community.

I currently help mod the community and I'm trying to turn the place around and get more people active and enforce community rules. Such as doing adoptions when people get stiffed in receiving their artwork and putting said stiffers on the blacklist until they turn art in.

Art exchanges are generally pretty fun. You should give it a try sometime and see if you like it.
